The Christmas Relief program provides needy families with food and support during the holiday season.

The event is sponsored by the Bellevue Vets and brings together members  and their families each year to set up and deliver food throughout the local community.

We would like to thank the many contributors to this program.  External funding makes up a large part of our annual budget.  The annual golf outing also provides much needed funding for this program,

In 2018, we delivered 100+ boxes of food, 30+ fruit baskets and 8 fruit boxes to residences and nursing homes throughout the local area.

    Annual Stand Down

This event is a grassroots, community-based intervention program designed to help the nation’s estimated 275,000 homeless veterans “combat” life on the streets. Homeless veterans are brought together at the Bellevue Vets site on Fairfield Avenue and are provided access to Club resources needed to begin addressing their individual problems and rebuilding their lives. In the military, Stand Down afforded battle-weary soldiers the opportunity to renew their spirit, health and overall sense of well-being.
